Why, Microsoft. Why.
I was working on code in a Visual Studio solution, but then decided to go try prototyping something in another solution. So of course, I close Visual Studio. Which makes it update, because I'm on Insiders for C++26 features which won't come because they "haven't finished C++23". Which is nonsense because, according to cppstat.dev, they haven't even finished C++20. To be fair, auto-updating a preview version is normal. It would just be better if features actually came and the updates weren't for nothing.
I'm so close to just moving back to Neovim with GCC...
